Prevent auto-scaling of charts (or define a set scale)

Has anyone been able to creatively set a scale for a chart? The auto-scale gives very strange results when you have big swings in values. Because I have 1 number in the billion range, I lose the ability to see the subtle differences in millions (or hundreds of thousands).

this is an area that definitely needs improvements.  my guess the immediate focus will be on completing the required features. hopefully, right after GA the team will have some time for maturing the existing feature set.
