Premium workspace capacity is still 10GB

Hello,

As far as I know, the premium capacity is 100TB of workspace capacity.

However, the maximum capacity displayed in the premium workspace is still 10GB.

I am using premium capacity, not shared capacity.

I've seen some post replies from people who are having similar issues with me, but I don't understand clearly.

I need an easy explanation.

Additionally, where can I find out how much premium workspace 100TB is used?

Thank you.

Hi @kmmy ,

Each workspace has a storage limit of 10GB. This is separate from the 100TB storage limit of the Premium capacity.

When you’re loading data that is being used in reports, it is stored in memory, not in the 100TB storage. It is only saved to disk (i.e., the 100TB storage) when it is evicted from Power BI Premium.

Currently, there isn’t a direct way to check how much of the 100TB storage you’ve used.

Best regards.

Thank you for reply,

But, What means this sentence?

" It is only saved to disk (i.e., the 100TB storage) when it is evicted from Power BI Premium."

I need a more detailed explanation.

Caitlin's reply is based on pre-Fabric behavior. Evictions are no longer a thing

The maximum size of a single partition is 10GB. The workspace can be much, much larger.
