I've posted a power BI to my company's Power BI Service and have successfully embedded a few of those dashboards into a PowerPoint presentation. I wish that were the end of the story.
On occasion, the visuals will load incorrectly, as if the underlying data model was incorrect (I've triple checked, it's not). The errors show themselves when I use the slicers in the embeded visuals: lines that the slicer should filter out continue to appear in the visual.
"Realoading" the data into the visuals doesn't resolve the error; if there's new data in the model the calculations will update, but the erant data lines in the visual itself will remain. I need to completely remove the embeded powerpoint visual and re-add it in order to get this error to resolve.
Is this a known issue with Power BI embedding? Or is there a switch somewhere that I can flip to resolve this issue?
