Hi All,
I've got strange issue I have started to experience, and I am interested in ideas regarding what the root cause could be.
I have some PowerBI subscriptions configured that deliver some dashboards into my inbox via the standard method with a png attachment - however recently they do notappear to be able to retrieve the data within the model - i.e. there is a pretty standard standard message in the png file that states 'Something went wrong. Unable to load the model'
As this content is embedded - I am unable to view the actual error details any further than this. I have confirmed that I have access to the data via the web - so it doesn't appear to be a permissions issue with the data source (i think).
Many thanks in advance...
Hi @turiyah,
What did you see on those dashboards in Power BI Service? Did they display tiles and data correctly?
A subscription will end if the Pro license expires, the dashboard or report is deleted by the owner, the user account used to create the subscription is deleted and so on. Please check whether your dashboards hit the limitations.
Best regards,
Yuliana Gu
Hi,
The Dahboards in the PowerBI Service are displaying correctly in terms of the tiles and data contained, and are updating correctly on schedule.
II've actually recreated the dashboards and republished them - so i don't think that there are any issues in terms of the currency of the userID that I have used to publish and initiate the subscriptionof the dashboards, however I'll retry to be sure...
Hi @turiyah,
I could not reproduce your problem on my side. If this problem occur to all subscribed dashboards in your scenario, I would suggest you create a support ticket at https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/ for further analysis.
Regards,
Yuliana Gu
