PowerBI reports are failing with {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError

Hello,

Our Power BI reports refreshes in powerBI service are failing with the below error :

Data source error: {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_TimeoutError","parameters":{},"details":[],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table:

This is not with only one particular report, its with most of our reports. They are taking long time to refresh and finally failing with timeout error

Can anyone help us with this issue.

Hi @Chandrika_R 

One area to look at is at your On-Premise gateway to make sure it has got enough CPU, Memory and bandwidth to the Power BI Service?

Second thing to check is to make sure that your On-Premise server has got a very good connection to your data source?

And finally the third thing to look at is your data source (which could be the actual issue), making sure that it is running fast and is returning the required data quickly. You might need to speak to the data source owner to be able to help you troubleshoot.
