PowerBI Slicer Page (similar to Excel slicers)

Hi,

I have a report with 8 tabs but the selecting & slicer dropdowns with multi selects become confusing and combersome 

Is there a way to create like excel main page a bunch of slicers that also visibly shows the selections and tell the story of what was selected. right now the users are confused

please any ideas on similar approach, still keep the tab slicers but i main page the diff sales people prefiters their areas only

You can create a page for your slicers and then have those sllicers on all pages as you may want and then have the slicers "sync" turned on so that whatever is selected on the main page will automatically be selected on every subsequent page.  You can even make the slicers smaller or perhaps even invisible on the other pages if you prefer and that way the user thinks they are only using the main page slicers.

Hi, Thank You for helping, i will give this a try

The slicer's drop down multiselect is tedius and not very clear when selected

is it possible to have  a clear button next to the slicers and in the open area of the main slicer page have a description/story of selected

example:

Slicer1=item structure

Slicer2=customer

with clear button next to it then in open area in Text: Item "Beverages" by Customer "WW" etc?

1. You can refer to this post to clear all slicers using bookmarks and button.

2. If you want to show text: Item "Beverages" by Customer "WW", you can try the following measure:

Text = "Item " & SELECTEDVALUE(Items[Item]) & "by Customer " & SELECTEDVALUE(Customers[Customer])
