I know you can use a SharePoint list as a data source for PowerBI desktop and all, but I would like to create a SharePoint List and use a PowerBI dataset/table as a data source for columns in the list. Can this be done? Thanks!
Hi @Razorbx13 ,
Based on my test, it is not supported currently.
You can post your idea on SharePoint Sites and Collaboration. This is your place to suggest ideas or vote for ideas for improving the SharePoint Sites and Collaboration experience.

Hello @Razorbx13 , As far as I know - this is not possible at this point of time (although, we can use dataset as a source for another report or dashboard building within desktop). You can post this as an idea in powerbi community. (https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas).
