PowerBI Gateway Service Update

Hi,

Is there a way to automate PowerBI Gateway Service update instead of manual download? We are having to see the our service stopped/broken and no report due to this. Also does Microsoft come out with the update on certain date/time?

Hi  @huev1016  ,

1. The gateway cannot be automatically updated for the time being, you can only download and install it in the following link, it will update your old version of the gateway.

2. For situations where you want to check service stopped/broken, you can collect logs from the gateway or the Event Viewer on the calculator where the gateway is installed.

3. For the gateway update cycle, a new update for the data gateway will be released every month.
