PowerBI Embedded License Questions

Hi there,

Is the cost on powerbi embedded Licensse completely usage dependant? Meaning if the usage of our dashboards is 0 h we dont pay anything, or there are fixed costs with this specific license.

Also is there a cap on the pricing? Imagine I have A1 license and one month the usage is 1000 hours. Would we need to pay 1000 dollars (assuming 1dollar/hour).

Hi @campelliann 

the price you pay is for when the A SKU is started and running.

If it is stopped you do not pay anything.

While it is running it is a fixed cost no matter if it used for reports or not used.

Hi there and thank you for your help, just one more question. If I look at the history of my schedule refreshes for a report, and I seen an average of 15 minutes per refresh. Can I count on these 15 minutes to be fully considered on the price?

The price is for when the A SKU is running. It does not matter if reports are being used or being refreshed it all is the same price.
