Hi All,
I am able to establish connection with API and able to refresh in power bi service also without any issue. BUT, when i publish my report to premium workspace and tried to refresh its throwing me this error => DataSource.Error: <pii>The underlying connection was closed: An unexpected error occurred on a send.</pii>. <pii> "API URL" </pii>. . The exception was raised by the IDbCommand interface. Table: "Table Name" .
If someone already faced this issue please explain me what exactly causing this issue, stuck with this for past 1 week.
Hi, did you manage to find a solution to this as I am having the same issue?
My reports refresh via a web API so no gateway is needed to set up automatic refresh normally, however, when I have now tried to publish to a Premium per capacity workspace I am getting the same error message. Would be grateful if you could share any solutions that you found.
Thanks!
Did you install a gateway?
Where is your data location in PowerBI premium capacity? Screenshots would be helpful
Since it is Premium Per User License mode. I not seeing the option for selecting the data location. Only option i have is selecting Default Storage Format from small to large dataset storage format.
Needs more details. What type of API? Does it require a gateway?
Its a REST API. Not using the gateway. I followed Chris Webbs's method. to connect with API though.
