I've been experiencing longer and longer times for scheduled refreshes to complete since the July 2024 gateway update. We actually rolled back to June 2024 for a couple of months and the refresh times went back down, however we upgraded to October and are now on November 2024 for gateway and refresh times have gotten to be crazy long. In one example, a report that used to take 10-15 seconds to update now takes at least 180 seconds. Others are much worse and many now take in excess of 300 seconds to refresh. Has anyone else noticed this behavior?
Note: we pull refresh data from Fabric daily and append it to a table in a local SQL database so it's easy for me to see this pattern.
Hi @motoray
While I understand it might be taking a bit longer for it to run, 300 seconds is only five minutes. Doesn't need to run on a regular schedule. I think at some point it also was a dotNet upgrade, which could potentially be affecting the refresh toms.
If it were only one report, it wouldn't be that bad, but we have over 250 reports refreshing daily and all of them are showing that same level of extended refresh times since June 2024. Seems like a LOT of extra time to me.
