Power BI report subscription with excel attachment

Good Morning,

We have a report that is leverage by our business partners, who are subscribed to receive the email (with excel attachment) around 9am.

Over the past several weeks, the report has not been emailed as expected through subscription. When I created the subscription for myself to have it ran around 9:30am yesterday, I did not receive an email until 3:39PM (even though the subscription email states 12:56PM – not sure if that is a time zone difference).

Question: Is there any known issues with subscriptions taking longer than normal to run? The report itself only takes ~20 seconds to load/open from Power BI, so it seems like it could be due limited resources. Is there any solution that could be made so that our business partners start to receive their subscriptions on time?

Thank you in advanced for your time & assistance.

    Hi Anonymous ,

Have not heard of this known issue that " subscriptions taking longer than normal to run". For subscriptions in power bi, short delays are relatively normal, as described below.

In your case, it seems that the time span is large, as you guessed, I also doubt whether it is related to the time zone, you can do a simple calculation to determine whether the time set by the subscription is correct if the time zone is unified.
