Report Subscription

Hi,

 

I am trying to add a subscription in one of the Power BI report. 

The options I am getting for 'Attach full report' are None/PDF/Microsoft PowerPoint.

I remember earlier there was opiton available to select Microsoft Excel also, so why there is no such option available anymore?

    Hello Anonymous 

     

    The option to subscribe to a Power BI report with an Excel (.xlsx) attachment is currently not available for standard Power BI reports (PBIX). The available formats for report subscriptions in the Power BI Service are:
    • PDF
    • Microsoft PowerPoint
    • None
    Previously, Excel attachments were supported in specific contexts, such as paginated reports created using Power BI Report Builder. This functionality has not been extended to standard PBIX reports.
     
     

    If this response was helpful in any way, I’d gladly accept a 👍 much like the joy of seeing a DAX measure work first time without needing another FILTER.

    I am also facing the same issue suddenly from saturday getting the same error, inspite of premium user, not able to subscribe to pdf report (3 pages).

      Hi Anonymous ,

       For regular reports, the supported attachment formats are currently limited to PDF, PowerPoint, or None, even when the workspace is on Premium or Fabric capacity. If you are now unable to subscribe to a PDF report, that would be a separate issue from the Excel limitation. In that case, please verify that the report is in a Premium/Fabric workspace, that you have Owner/Member permissions, and whether the issue occurs for other reports as well. Also try creating a test subscription on a simple report or via an InPrivate window to rule out browser-related issues.
