One of my Power BI reports shows old report in my Power BI app, but when I go to the app edit and navigate to the report, it shows correctly, also I can see every time app render fresh there is a popup
We have done browser cache deletion, power BI cache deletion , update app , etc neither of those not helped
Anyone have solution for this ?
Best Regards
Radika

Hi @Radika ,
Thank you for sharing the issue.
Based on the behavior and the error message you've encountered (“Sorry, we couldn't find that report”), this typically occurs when the app retains a cached or outdated reference to the report. While you've already taken the right steps (clearing cache, updating the app, etc.), I’d recommend trying the following additional steps within the Power BI app:
Recommended steps:
In the top-right corner of the app view, select “Reset to default”.
After that, use the “Refresh” button to reload the app content.
Optionally, refresh the browser page as well.
Any of these three actions can help clear any stale personalization or navigation state that may be interfering with report visibility.

👉 Make even a small tiny edit to the App settings → Save → Re-publish App → Manual Dataset Refresh → Wait 10 min → Open app in incognito window.
Examples of "tiny dummy changes" you can do:
Add a new Section in app navigation ➔ Save ➔ Publish ➔ then remove it later
Rename a page inside the report to something like Page 1 (v2) ➔ Save ➔ Publish
Because Power BI App Service backend won't always generate a brand-new app version if it thinks "nothing changed".
Dummy changes force a change and guarantee fresh packaging.
