Hi ,
I'm reaching out to inquire about the possibility of embedding a live Power BI data table directly within the body of an email, similar to how HTML tables can be embedded.
Our goal is to share up-to-date information with recipients without resorting to attachments (PDF, PPT) or static snapshots in the email body. Ideally, we'd like to deliver the most recent data table directly within the email body itself.
Any insights or suggestions on achieving this functionality would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Anita
Hi @Anita_shinde ,
Currently, Power BI does not support embedding live data tables directly into the body of an email in the same manner as embedding HTML tables.
For live data sharing without attachments, consider sharing a link to the Power BI report hosted on the Power BI service, ensuring your recipients have the necessary permissions to view the report.
This method ensures data remains live and interactive, although it requires recipients to access the Power BI service.
Or you might consider providing Home (microsoft.com) with your idea.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to ask.
Best Regards,
Yang
