Hi First of all thanks for the prompt and detailed reply.
Another Q, is there any relation between Office 365 region vs Power BI premium Region provisioning ?
Office 365 Tenant can be in West Europe and we can still provision Power BI premium / PPU in Sweden Central ?
Thanks
Anky
Hi @AnkySin ,
Multi-geography is a feature of Power BI Premium that helps multinational customers meet regional, industry-specific, or organizational data residency requirements. As a Power BI Premium customer, you can deploy content to data centers in regions other than the Power BI tenant's primary region. A geographic location (geolocation) can contain multiple regions. So while an Office 365 tenant can be located in Western Europe, you can indeed pre-provision Power BI Premium or PPU capacity in Central Sweden!
If you have a pro license, you can go and open a Request for Tenant Migration ticket.

Hi @Anonymous
If I'm reading the article (Multi-Geo support for Fabric - Microsoft Fabric | Microsoft Learn) correctly, creating a Fabric capacity in a region that is not your tenant's home region and moving some PBI workspace there, would migrate the data on that workspace (semantic models etc) to the capacity's region - is that correct? I need to find a definitive confirmation for this because I'm getting some conflicting advices on this even from Microsoft support.
Thanks
