Power BI not logging in using Safari with macOS 10.15 Catalina

Struggling to login power BI after updating to latest version of macOS 10.15 catalina using safari.

Error message is we couldn't sign you in using latest version of Safari which comes with macOS 10.15.

I have done the following but still getting the same issue.

  1. Quit Safari
  2. Click on Finder
  3. Click ‘GO’ in the Apple Menu Bar
  4. Hold the Option Key and click on the ‘Library' folder
  5. Find the ‘Caches' folder
  6. Drag the contents fo the Caches folder (not the folder itself) to trash
  7. Restart Safari
  8. Sign in

Any ideas what can be done next?

Hi @paul_dunn ,

There are several points you may considerate:

1.Please check if this issue occurs in other browsers.

2.Please check the status of network or firewall that may block users' authentication.

3.Please check if the account license expired.

4.Please try to clear the browser cache, and try it again.

Best Regards,

Amy

Tried all the above, found on some Macs the first stages generally worked. However a few Macs continued to get the PowerBI login issues. Finally I resolved these issues by updating the Mac OS 10.15 updates.

Thanks

Paul

Just to add another note it does however work with Chrome, so something in the latest version of Safari is causing this issue.
