Power BI direct query with SAP HANA fails

Hello,

Power BI direct query  is working fine in Desktop . AFter publishing, the report errors out with the messsage that it is not accessible to the data source. Gateway is already configured to access HANA server. It is something with gateway srever.. going back and forth with Microsoft, still no resolution.

Import method no issues using gateway.

Any help is much appreciated.

yes, we ran it in power bi gateway server to rule out network issues.

We also have a case , going back and forth with the support team.

This is going to be great break through for users connecting to SAP BW4HANA data as we can leverage SAP security.

Do you try to run your power bi report on gateway server ? maybe firewall rules or drivers missing
