Dear all,
We have a PowerPoint presentation with over 40 Power BI visuals which are included using the option to embed live data in PowerPoint (see the screenshot below for the documentation of the feature).
Now, we want to handover the service to our client. That is, the Power BI reports move from our environment to the environment of the client.
My question is: Is there a way to update the links to the visuals in the Power Point presentation?
It would be very nice if someone could give us a hint. If not, we would have to paste all the visuals again to the presentation.
Many thanks in advance and kind regards,
Alex

Hi @PowerCommunityM ,
Based on the retrieved documents, there isn't a direct way to update the links to the Power BI visuals in the PowerPoint presentation after moving the reports from one environment to another. The documents suggest that the Power BI reports are embedded in PowerPoint as live data using an add-in. However, there is no mention of a feature that allows updating the links to the visuals in the PowerPoint presentation after the reports have been moved to a different environment.
Therefore, you might need to re-embed the visuals in the PowerPoint presentation after moving the reports to the client's environment. This could involve using the "Embed live Data" option again with the new report URLs in the client's environment.
I understand this might not be the ideal solution you were hoping for, but based on the information available, this seems to be the current approach.

Neeko Tang
