Power BI Scheduler Refresh Fail : Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.

I have dashboard with CouchBase (CB) Datasource (connection CData Couchbase). The dashboard that i use will refresh automatically using the scheduler I created 8 times a day (per three hours).

But in a day, on average, the scheduler only runs 4 times, the rest fail. this is quite annoying dashboard users and the problem is always repeated.

have a solution regarding this?

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous ,

Make sure you have the same privacy level securitys ettings in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.

In Power BI Desktop:

Options and Settings --> Data Source Settings

For every Datasource: -->  Edit Permissions

Set Privacy Level: e.g. „Organizational“

Power BI Service:

Datasets --> (Choose you Datasets which does not update properly) --> settings --> Gateway Connection --> Actions --> (expand you cluster to show all Data Sources) --> (Choose relevant Datasource) --> Advanced Settings --> Privacy setting --> set same level (e.g. „Organizational) as in Power BI Desktop

HI @Anonymous ,

We would like to know more about this issue.
Is there a problem with the refresh timeout in this failed refresh error message?
Do you have multiple scheduled refreshes configured in your workspace?
Is your workspace nearing full capacity?

Thanks for your reply.

1. Is there a problem with the refresh timeout in this failed refresh error message?
probably not, because if that's the case, the massage error will show something like that. But if there are other opinions regarding this, let me know.
FYI, the PBIX size in this issue = 200 MB, and the average refresh time it takes is approximately 20 minutes.

2.Do you have multiple scheduled refreshes configured in your workspace? YES

3.Is your workspace nearing full capacity? No (2.9 GB / 10 GB)
