Hi everyone. I'm trying to refresh my data at my workspace online but apears this message: Can anyone help me? At the desktop i don't have any kind of error in the table or other stuff. I verified my table FATO_DISTRATO and don't have any error at the desktop too. {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_MashupDataAccessError","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Não conseguimos converter o valor \"[Record]\" em tipo Record."}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingHResult","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"Microsoft.Data.Mashup.ValueError.Reason","detail":{"type":1,"value":"Expression.Error"}}],"exceptionCulprit":1}}} Table: FATO_DISTRATO.Solved1.5KViews0likes5CommentsScheduled Refresh of Report on Locally Hosted Report Server
I am trying to host a report and get it to update daily with new data. Right now, I have all of the data on the PowerBI service as dataflows or under a dataset. When I use these data sources (which are already updating daily), within my report PBIX file, and I upload it onto the web URL for others to view, I cannot schedule a refresh for that report. It says I don't have any external data connections defines or am using an unsupported data source. I have several API queries making up all of my data. Need to figure out how to get these refreshing all the way through to the report on the host server every night. Is this possible? How do I get this flowing properly?423Views0likes0CommentsIncremental Refresh Unstable (Impala & Kerberos)
Hi all, I'm pretty new to PBI and keen to actually get using the full power of PowerBI but at the moment I'm stuck in data access limbo. We are using Kerberos authentication to connect to an Impala database. The initial connection is fine (ie. we can get data and set up incremental refreshes) and the incremental refreshes will generally perform ok for a few days and then fail, then maybe start again, fail (repeat) before eventually flaming out and disabling themselves. I have been on endless calls with our PBI Support Team who say that it's not a PBI error. They blame the database team who say it's not their problem...it's a network issue, and the network team blame PBI Team.....and around it goes 😞 I know that this will be virtually impossible to diagnose and fix via a forum but would be keen to hear if Impala + Kerberos has worked for anybody to at least give me confidence it can be achieved 🙂 Example of error message: "Failure details: The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support. {"error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_InvalidConnectionCredentials","pbi.error":{"code":"DM_GWPipeline_Gateway_InvalidConnectionCredentials","parameters":{},"details":[{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorCode","detail":{"type":1,"value":"-2147467259"}},{"code":"DM_ErrorDetailNameCode_UnderlyingErrorMessage","detail":{"type":1,"value":"<ccon>[Microsoft][ThriftExtension] (3) Error occurred while contacting server: SSL_read: error code: 0. I have an SQL Server database feeding into a powerBI report. I publish it to powerbi.com and it works fine. However when I attempt to refresh it on PowerBI.com it fails. I also get the same failure when I try to schedule a refresh. I have the newest version of the on prem gateway (personal) installed and seemingly online. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dan533Views0likes1CommentSome dashboard tiles are not refreshing
Hi, Most tiles in my dashboard are not being updated correctly when data changes on the report. Even when I click refresh on the dashboard the visuals are not updated. I have to go everyday into the report (where correct data is shown) and pin the same tiles to the dashboard for data to be updated. What is very curious is that one of the tiles in the dashboard does update correctly (a fish tank visualization). Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Thank you.842Views0likes2CommentsPower BI Scheduler Refresh Fail : Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.
I have dashboard with CouchBase (CB) Datasource (connection CData Couchbase). The dashboard that i use will refresh automatically using the scheduler I created 8 times a day (per three hours). But in a day, on average, the scheduler only runs 4 times, the rest fail. this is quite annoying dashboard users and the problem is always repeated. have a solution regarding this? Thanks. It is a weird problem and it shows up recently. Suddenly nearly all of my reports could not display visuals correctly. The error message is given below. Couldn't retrieve the data for this visual. Please try again later. Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details. Activity ID: 91b2103e-ff11-40de-946d-6cc4f44a2397 Request ID: ceedea02-60ce-4c7f-eca4-d36cdc88e071 Correlation ID: 8f0db4eb-476c-8e46-ae73-edec429fae81 Time: Tue May 03 2022 10:03:10 GMT-0500 (Central Daylight Time) Service version: 13.0.18173.56 Client version: 2204.4.11089-train Cluster URI: https://wabi-canada-central-redirect.analysis.windows.net My data sources mainly include three parts: SQL Server, Sharepoint files, Web. Since something in common with the problematic visuals is that they are have measures from tables in these Sharepoint files, I doubt that the connection between the Sharepoint and On-premises gateway is down. But everything works fine on my pbix file. I reinstalled the gateway yesterday. It works last day but today it again throws me these errors. I've read some posts, but I am not sure which problem and solution applies to my case. By the way several days ago, I noticed the error message below, informing me that there's no available gateway. Could it be that I am using the files extracting from sharepoint, but after merging them within the Power Query editor, Power Bi service is unable to identify them? Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.Solved4KViews0likes2CommentsCan't refresh local data
I have some reports that use local, unchanging data from excel files. I also have "Include in Report Refresh" disabled on all local data files as they are static files. The reports also connect to Business Central live databases. Since 11/2/2021 the reports have stopped refreshing, with an error regarding credenials. When I disable the local data files (Enable/Disable Load in the PowerQuery Editor) and re-publish, they are able to refresh without error. The error: Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. To start the refresh again, go to this dataset's settings page and enter credentials for all data sources. Then reactivate scheduled refresh. It's confusing becasue it used to do a daily scheduled refresh without problem. Appreciate your input.2.1KViews0likes7CommentsCan't schedule refresh due to cannot find file with a file error handling
I've published a PowerBI file that is working on my desktop refreshing the data etc. but when i published it's not letting me refresh because it can't find the files. I'm getting my files from a folder path (csv) and from a database. The issue is, i've already accounted the missing files with a file error handler ,that if a file is missing or is not present on a folder, it will get data from a table. which is working fine if i do it on desktop. (see below) So trying to refresh will give me an error on the workspace Dataset settings. Has anyone encountered this issue? any suggestions to resolve this? thank you932Views0likes1Comment
