I'm trying to understand the Power BI Embeded licenses. As I understand the intension is to provide data for our customers. But what about our internal users, are they allowed to access as well?

Here is a good blog by John White that outlines the differences between A and EM.

@pade The Embedded sku allows you to use Power BI in your own custom application, internal or external. But you can't use the Power BI Service with either license. There is the EM sku - which you buy via O365, or the A sku which can be purchased via Azure.
Another option, is if you want to use the Power BI Service, you can buy Pro licenses for internal users. And there is new functionality to pay for your customers via B2B in Azure AD.
Many different options.
Thanks @Anonymous. Can you link the the different options you described
