Power BI Copilot not working with the huge amount of data.

Hi,
I encountered an error using Power BI Copilot when working with a report containing 90 Lakh rows of data. The error message is
"Sorry, but this report has too much data for me to handle. I`m currently limited in the amount of data I can manage."
I'm wondering if Power BI Copilot has any data limitations in terms of size. Additionally, is there a specific amount of data Copilot can handle effectively?

Hi @mohitkumawat ,

Limitations and considerations

  • Copilot in Microsoft Fabric isn't supported on trial SKUs. Only paid SKUs (F64 or higher, or P1 or higher) are supported.
  • Your administrator needs to enable the tenant switch before you start using Copilot. See the article Copilot tenant settings for details.
  • Your F64 or P1 capacity needs to be in one of the regions listed in this article, Fabric region availability. If it isn't, you can't use Copilot.
  • These capabilities are also available in edit mode, and in Desktop.
  • Fabric Copilot experiences in Power BI are preview experiences. This experience is in public preview.
  • Updates are being made continually, so expect improvements.
  • Copilot responses are generated with AI and can make mistakes. Always check your work.

While there isn't a specific documented limit on the total data size, the performance and responsiveness of Copilot can be affected by the complexity and size of the data model.

Ask Copilot questions about data in the model (preview) - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

If your Current Period does not refer to this, please clarify in a follow-up reply.
