Power BI Azure MySQL database with scheduled refresh

Hi, 

One of my datasets is a MySQL database hosted on Azure. Power BI integrates nicely with MySQL and importing and using the data is no issue. However I wish to set up scheduled refresh once a day on this dataset. I am able to do this setting up a Gateway connection to my personal computer and this seems to work. 

My solution so far looks to be using a VM in Azure with a static public IP to serve as this gateway. Which seems uncomfortably complicated and expensive..

Does anyone know of a more elegant solution?

Hi @Anonymous ,

Did you mean you cannot choose gateway for your dataset here? Please make sure your gateway is running and restart it to check again, or you can update it to try later.
