Power BI Alert triggered multiple times outside of semantic model refresh time

Hello,

I have a semantic model that is refreshed daily alongside an alert that is sent out whenever a certain value falls below 0. This has been working perfectly for months but today I have received multiple email alerts throughout the day outside of the refresh window. Does anyone know why that is the case?

Hi @RYU209 ,

Alerts only work on refreshed data. They don't work on static data.Because alerts are only sent if your data changes, you don't receive duplicate alerts for an unchanged value.So there must be multiple refreshes.

Check your recent refresh history for any retries.

From time to time, they can be small errors or issues with the service. So this could be the case.
