Hello,
I have added an Power automate visual in my report to trigger an update. In Power Bi Desktop it runs fine but in the on share point published report the flow will not be triggered.
Do anybody have an idea?
Solved! Go to Solution.
If you are the one who tries to trigger it and it doesn't work, then yes, it might be a limited functionality issue or even some API related issue. Sadly, Sharepoint is not as friendly with Power BI as it should be.
Thanks for the link. This explains, why nothing happened when a collegue of me hit the refresh button. But I as an owner of the flow, should be anyway be able to trigger it, or not?
I read here, that the functions of the visual are limited when published in the web.
Solved: Some Visuals not working when published to the web - Microsoft Power BI Community
Is this actually the answer or is it diffrent on sharepoint?

You need to specify who can use the flow on Power Automate > Users.
