Postgres SQL cloud database, is Gateway required for schedule refresh the report?

I am trying to schedule refresh my report without the gateway just by giving Data Source credentials, as my datasource is cloudbased posstgres SQL DB. I am not sure about do i really need a gateway?.
Do i need to install the Enterprise/standard Gateway? or what is the solution for this error?

Based on my understanding of the architecture of PBI enterprise gateway, for the data source in the cloud, as long as it is not in a virtual network with a private endpoint enabled, it does not need to be used to connect to the relevant data source, for your current Postgres SQL cloud database, I think the first thing you need to ensure is that this data source can be accessed through the public network, because the PBI service is a cloud platform based on the public network, if confirmed, Conveniently, you can expand your error details and post them in text format in this case response for further research and analysis.
