Postgres Failed to update data source credentials: An error happened while reading data from the

Hi, 

I am trying to create a scheduled refresh for a dashboard that is connected to a postgres dashboard. When I input the credentials in data source credentials I fill in the desired information and regardless of authentication method or privacy level I get the following error: 

Failed to update data source credentials: An error happened while reading data from the provider: 'A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond

Is there a way to fix this?
