I have a simple transformation sequence where I set a couple of filters and then I do a pivot.
It seems that the Applied Step called "Pivoted Column" breaks the folding. And at that time I cannot use the "VIew Native Query"
Many pages on the web say I can use Pivoting and it should fold in properly.
The issue is that when this occurs the incremental refresh gives a warning and most importantly it will not let me pick real time refresh
Thanks

Hey @PowerBI-ELM ,
I have to admit that I'm a little confused because incremental refresh does not work with direct query, The feature incremental refresh adds batches (the increment) of data to an existing dataset in import mode: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/incremental-refresh-overview?WT.mc_id=DP-MVP-...
Can you please explain why you have to pivot data, as sometimes the pivoting can easily be done inside the data visualization as the visuals are spreading values from one column to the axis of charts or for example to the row header of the matrix visual.
Regards,
Tom
I am astonished that did not know that adding a field to the legend column on a line graph works like a Pivot.
Thanks,
