Persistent filters are not holding the values in Power BI App.

We have enabled Persistent filters in Power BI settings, we are using 10-15 slicers in the self-service report. We have created an APP which will show the self service report UI for users.

Requirement is that every user have their own choice of slicers selections when they launch the app and when the user comeback to the report, it should render previous session slicer selections. But currently it is not storing previous session filters when launched via APP.

Hi @Anonymous

When the app is first launched it will show the state of the slicers when the report was uploaded.

Only once the users make changes to slicers will their changes be saved.

Hi @GilbertQ

When the app is first launched it shows us  the state of the slicers when the report was uploaded, Users have made changes to the Slicers but when they come back to the App instead of showing last session slicer choices still we are seeing the state of slicers when the report was uploaded.

The App is not storing the slicer selection of users instead it is rendering the slicer values of report when it was published.

Hi @Anonymous

This is by design

Hi @GilbertQ,

You didn't answer my Question, the APP is not retrieving the Users previous session of slicers selection. DO you accept it as a product bug?

THanks
