Hi,
We have implemented cascading parameter in one of our report and the parameters are Year, Month and emp#.
When user do the year filter back to back many times it shows from JAN in the month filter which should not be the case as we dont have data for JAN month for that year, also not easy to replicate this scenario. Think it just refresh latency but please suggest if there is any option to avoid that.
Thanks,
Nirmal
Hi, @Anonymous
I think that if the user has configured all the parameter settings correctly, then the selected year will not have a month that does not exist. Unfortunately, as you said above, I was unable to reproduce this issue.
There is an instructional report creation document here that may be useful to you.

Please refer to Task 5 in Lab 4A: Configure cascading parameters
Hope this helps.
