All RB layout objects have a Name property. This Name property is free text and can be changed.
The default Name of an object when created is of the format <object type><sequence number>
From this naming convention we know the object type.
Another way to find the object type of the layout object in focus is from the right mouse menu properties submenu.
This right mouse menu properties submenu takes the form of <object type> Properties...
And the free text Name property of the newly created object.
And we can enter any free form text
Know I am stating the obvious but not sure if I have seen this presented as such. Currently working on the issue below.
