Page unresponsive message is displayed.

Good Morning,

Recently we've switched to "direct query" connection mode for one of the power bi reports. since then I'm noticing the error message "page unresponsive" from app.powerbi.com with options to wait or exit page. This issue is killing our user experience. I'm providing more details below.

Our power bi report is embedded into front end angular application and connects with "Azure Analysis Services" for building tabular model. There are six pages in the report and each report page has around 60 columns retreiving around 2-3 lakh records. In the older "import" connection mode i've never seen this error but after switching to "direct query" mode, unresponsive message is displayed often and is unpredictable.

Could anyone please help me in getting rid of this error.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @nagj2024 ,

Based on the description, for page unresponsive error, try to clear the browser cache and log back in again.

What’s more, a memory limit is enforced for all queries issued by reports against Azure analysis services.
