Hello,
I've done what i usually do, that is embed in my SP site a link for a PBI report deployed on PBI service (Prod).
This time, and for the 1st time, i'm having an issue that, while the report works in PBI service, it doesn't work my SP page.
I've reprocessed the report with the KPIs, the report with the scorecard, re "choosing" the PBI's page on the SP PBI web part, and even created a new PBI web part and choosed the PBI's page again, without success.
The error is this
Does anyone know how to solve it?

Hi @RicardoV4
It usually happens when a Power BI report with a Scorecard visual (from Metrics) is embedded in a SharePoint page using the standard Power BI web part.
The report will work fine in the Power BI Service, but SharePoint can’t render the Scorecard properly this seems to be a limitation right now. I’ve seen the same "Something went wrong" error when trying to embed similar reports.
What you can do:
I removed the Scorecard visual from the report, saved it, and republished it then loaded fine in SharePoint.
If removing it isn’t an option, consider just linking to the full report in Power BI Service rather than embedding it.
Some users have also used "embed in a secure portal" with mixed results, depending on licensing.
Unfortunately, there’s currently no official fix unless Microsoft expands Scorecard visual support for SharePoint embedding.
Hi @RicardoV4 ,
Thank you @rohit1991 for the valuable inputs!
In addition to Rohith suggestion, your Power BI report is working in Power BI Service but not in SharePoint, which could be due to permissions, browser issues, embedding limitations, or unsupported visuals like Scorecards.
1.First, ensure that you are using the correct SharePoint Online embed link from Power BI Service > File > Embed report > SharePoint Online and add it to the Power BI web part.
Refer to this official Microsoft guide detailed informaton:
Embed a report web part in SharePoint Online - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Hope this helps. If this helps, please give us Kudos and consider Accept it as a solution to help the other members find it more quickly.

Hello, so I've found that this is in fact a known limitation. So the best solution is (though visually pages down and filters right can't be hidden), instead of selecting embed/export to sharepoint online, and then using a pbi embed part in SP, to embed/export to site and then, from the side of SP, use a embed part
