Hello,
I am importing an Excel file into PBI Online using Get Data > Files > Local File > Import.
After the dataset is created, dragging a Date+Time column to the Axis field on a chart doesn't give me a hierarchy, and the option doesn't appear when right-clicking either.
Instead, additional columns for Year, Month and Date are created when I import, but stacking those on the axis doesn't yield the same results as having a properly created hierarchy.
How can I get a hierarchy in this case?
@PicPay_Sam Start in the Desktop, publish to the Service. All the modeling and "auto generated things related to that model" is built in the Desktop. The Service doesn't have the capability to do those things, it's primary function is for sharing, or supporting embedding/live streaming.
