On-premises data gateway (personal mode) signs me out every time I close or mimimize the window
Every time I open the on-premises data gateway I have to sign in all over again. I can't have to do this for what's supposed to be a hands off solution.
-I'm on the newest version of the gateway software
-The system it's running on is updated and powerfull enough to handle the software
-I'm signing in via a microsoft account, and the sign in process works as intended
-After I've signed in it says it's all set up
Edit:
After signing in through a normal web browser and trying to open the configurator again, the window does simply not show up.
The process is running fine, but the window does not show up, nor will it let me access the gateway.
Here's a gif showing what I'm seeing on my end:
What now?

Hi , @alfred_ayfie
Based on your issue description and screenshot provided, I think you are trying to open the personal gateway configurator, which is an application to manage your personal gateway but won't make any difference for the normal usage for this personal gateway in your Power BI service(as you know, the using purpose of Power BI gateway is to connect to and refresh the on-premise data with the cloud Power BI dataset)
So my suggestion is that you may go to the "Manage gateway" page of your Power BI service and check if the personal gateway is online now.
What's more, based on my test, if I turn on the auto-startup for this application personal gateway, I can manage to see the personal gateway is online everytime I start my computer that insalled the personal gateway, instead of opening the personal gateway application(actually this application's main purpose is to just collect the gateway logs for the support when dataset refresh failed but you can't figure out the reason)
Thank you for your time and sharing, and thank you for your support and understanding of PowerBI!
Best Regards,
Aniya Zhang
