Odata connection error from PowerBi services

I'm successfully running Power BI desktop app where I have a report that pulls data from an OData feed. And yes, I'm using basic Authentication. No problems so far.

Now I have published this report to a workspace PowerBi Services (web) and set it to refresh data. And I get an error that data cannot be refreshed because of invalid credentials. Any ideas how to fix it? How could I pass authentication parameters within OData feed?

Hi @dk7201110 ,

What is the exact error message reported, and can you provide a screenshot of it? For similar problems, it may be worth trying the following first.

Hi, thank for reply.

that is Error message I've got trying to refresh data source. Maybe there are some errors, due to translate problems from Russian:

====

Data source error: Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials. Go to the dataset settings page, enter credentials for all data sources, and then reactivate the scheduled update.

Seems to me that is not possible to pass Authentication parameters to OData source. As I told - It works fine on PowerBi Desktop (authentication as well), but fail when I publish it.

Hi @dk7201110 ,

It seems to be caused by a voucher issue. As the solution mentioned in the similar question below says, modify the credentials in the data source settings, copy the URL of the http server where the OData source is located, replaced that line in Data Source settings by the URL.

Try to make a test and give me feedback as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Henry

And one more thing - OData source is located on http server (not https). Maybe that is the reason?
