New Column in Sharepoint Does Not Show Up in Power BI Online Dataset

I'm using Power BI Online with SharePoint List, I managed to get my first report generated.

I now go back to SharePoint List and added a new column, this column does not show up in the dataset.
I only found solutions with Power BI Desktop but not Power BI Online, how do I update the dataset to include this new column?

Hi @plasma16 ,

The only way to do this in the web-browser is by creating a Fabric Lakehouse or Warehouse from scratch in the web-browser. This way you could feed your table using a Dataflow Gen 2 reading the SharePoint list and feeding a lakehouse or warehouse table. Then, if you need a schema change, like adding columns, you can do everything in the web browser.

Otherwise you cannot do it in the web-browser and you need Power BI Desktop to add columns to the data model. A simple refresh of the published dataset never applies schema changes, even if you changed the source, like in your case, adding columns to the SharePoint list.
Kind regards,
Martin
