Need help with date format in Power BI dashboard to use EN-AU instead of EN-US format

Hi team,

Need help with date format of a date slicer in my Power BI dashboard. I have setting my Regional Setting to Australia, but the date displated in my dashboard follows US date format.

I then updated the Language setting in PowerBI.

When I selected Nederlands for example, it is showing the expected date format, and so does it when I selected other languages (Deutsch and Francais).

But, as soon as switch back to English, it follows US rather than AU date format.

Is there a way to set the dashboard to take AU date format rather than US pls?

Hi @BenTampubolon ,

The issue may be caused by a combination of the settings in the Power BI Service and the settings in your browser.  In this case, we are going to use chrome for the example.

Starting inside the Power BI service (app.powerbi.com)

1) Click on the gear icon in the top right corner

2) Click on Settings

3) Select Language

4) Select Default Browser Language

5) Go to the Browser Settings

6) Search browser setting for “Language”

7) If your correct language/region is not shown select add language

 Select the 8 vertical dots next to the language you want to be the primary language

9) Choose Display Google Chrome in this Language

Go in your date settings and apply the below settings.

That is controlled by the locale settings of the browser the user uses to look at your report.
