Manage access control and sharing through Active Directory groups

Is there a proper description of this access control feature of the pro version?

I need to know how far this can help me to get the dasboards to the users.

Is there a way to provide AD groups access to Power BI workspaces? When I use the edit workspace feature, I can only see individual users, not groups.

Has this been resolved? Specifically, I'm trying to add an existing on-prem AD group to a workspace and it's not working....
