MS Acces

Dear all,

I  made a report in PowerBI desktop with data from 3 different sources:

-  OracleDB
-  MSAcces file

-  MSAcces file

I set up an Enterprise gateway and put them all in a cluster. Managed the gateway properly and published the file to PowerBI service. Unfortunatly when I try to connect to the gateway I get an error.

I think it is because of the MSAcces files, but I'm not completely sure.

Does someone have an idea what is going wrong and how I can resolve this?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

BWL

Hi there

What is the error that you are getting?

I would think it would have to do with the same version having to be installed on the Gateway Server in order to process the MS Access files. This also means if where you created the PBIX file, you also need to make sure that they are both 32bit or 64bit MS Access installations.

Dear @GilbertQ,

Thank you, I think incorrect BIT version is the problem.
I will install the 64 bit versions and try it again.
