Local Server information

Hi everybody,

Is it possible to use a local server to save all information from Power Bi?

My company needs to have and save all confidential information in our server, we don't want to have the information in the cloud of Microsoft.

It is possible?

How much it cost?

Hi @Corominola,

All published reports to Power BI service can't be stored to your local server. You can consider use Power BI report server to store your data behind firewall. You need to buy Premium (or SQL Server Enterprise with Software Assurance) per core + Power BI Pro per report publisher). For more information, see: A closer look at Power BI Report Server.

Regrading Power BI report server, only data source by live connection to SSAS are supported now. You can go through document to get more information: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/reportserver-get-started/

Bonjour,

Je voudrais juste m'assurer que j'ai bien compris .. ou pas.

Mon entreprise ne veut pas utiliser Power BI car pas de publication sur le cloud Microsoft. Par contre avec Power Bi Report Server, les rapports publiés sont accessibles par des collaborateurs et sont protégés par le pare feu de notre entreprise ? (comme toutes les données qui sont sur un Sharepooint entreprise par exemple ?). 

Je maitrise les outils mais moins les questions d'infrastructure et j'ai besoin d'aide pour trouver une solution et inciter mon entreprise à nous permettre d'utiliser Power BI.
