Live Connection best optin for someone who uses ODBC nowadays

Hello everybody,

For all my PBIX files I use ODBC connection with Firebird 3.0 (Russian Database), since PowerBI Desktop don´t have this directly connection. (https://firebirdsql.org/)

BUT now I need one PBIX File for the manufacturer department of our clients, this PBIX must be online, any suggestion for how can I do this?

Hi @brunozanoelo ,

Did you need real-time data for the report. You need to use the direct query mode. You can take a look at following links about use custom data connector to achieve odbc direct query:
