Linking microsoft access to power bi?

Is it possible to link microsoft access to power BI via the web service or do I have to use the desktop app?

You can connect to limited no. of data sources in PBI Service ( Excel, CSV or PBI Desktop) and some other online sources. For Access databases, You should use PBI Desktop.
