Limit Direct Query data with dynamic filter

Dear Power BI Experts,

I have connected my power BI desktop with Teradata (data source). It is huge database and there are some rules where power BI cannot read full table so, I have to limit data with some date filters.

Can we create these filters inside Power Query or Report view and dynamically change it to get filtered data from database ?

2. date slicer

In report, you can create a date table and use it as a slicer to filter the related data, please refer to the following link:
