Issues with Export / PowerPoint / Embeded Live Data

Recently I'm having issues exporting a live BI page in powerpoint, via Issues with Export / PowerPoint / Embeded Live Data.  I'm able to do this successfully for BI pages that have been published for a while, but for new BI pages in the same report the process displays the wrong page in power point. 

It may be unrelated, but I notice on the new BI pages (that will not link sucessfully in powerpoint), I see that there is no "ReportSelection" component of the URL in BI.  Everything works fine in BI itself, but it just doesn't live link in ppt.

My Power BI desktop is updated.  This appears to a recent bug in the service or in powerpoint.  any advice?

Could you make sure that you have got the latest version of powerpoint installed and see if that resolves your issue?

Thanks for the suggestion.  I checked and I already have the latest version of power point.
