Hello,
I'm attempting to add new relationships and tables to an already existing Power BI Semantic model but unable to do so when clicking the three dots on the right hand corner of the Semantic model then Open data model. When I do so, the below message appears:
From what I understand, there is no endpoint available within Visual Studio yet that we can use to connect to a Power BI Semantic Model.
From my research and trying differenet approaches, the only way I can edit a model is if I were to build a secondary model off of the original (which has no connections) to any sources, I can then edit the model successfully, almost as if this would work with a direct query model vs live connection.
Any information/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Hello @PMFlorenzano ,
I don't understand why don't you download the pbix file and within it you edit the model.
the semantic model is related to the pbix file.
