In PowerBI, if our visual includes columns 1 and 2 with slicer filters applied for Age, Gender, and Income, and the end user wishes to export data from the visual, is there a method to also export the list of applied filters along with the visual data?

Hi, @AkankshaRai_123
I created a PBIX file using the example data below:
Then you need to turn on the following option in the settings of Power BI desktop:
When the user applies filters, we can export data for individual visual objects and retain the results of the filters:
I've uploaded the PBIX file used this time below.

Hi, @AkankshaRai_123
This is the default format and we cannot change it. If you need to change this format, you should change it in Excel.

Hi. You can't known the filters applied by another user with logs and something like that. However, the person exporting can know. The excel or csv usually shows filters applied, something like:
Applied filters:
Estados is not (Blank)
Mes is agosto
Año is 2024
I hope that helps,
Happy to help!
The requirement is, if end user is exporting data from matrix visual, all slicer filters applied on that matrix should also be exported by default ina form of list.
Could you please share PBIX file?
Hi @AkankshaRai_123 ,
I don't think we have that functionally available. While looking at the exported data they will definitely know what they filtered if they don't have slicer columns available in their data then it will be sometimes difficult to understand what they filtered.
Thanks,
Sai Teja
