Hi, I am newbie on power bi.
First of all, I have to tell you that I'm not using direct query dataset because I should use Sharepoint
So, I tried to add a Power automate visual buton directly inside my Power Bi page to refresh the dataset.
The dataset have been refreshed correctly, however the visuals in the page havn't been updated since i refreshed the webpage browser (F5).
Have u any way to fix this, update visuals without reloading the webpage ?
Thank you for your help !
No, that is not possible. The only thing that would automatically update would be a dashboard tile that was created by pinning this report visual to a dashboard.
Remember that "Refresh a dataset" is not actually refreshing a dataset. It is requesting a dataset refresh. The Power BI service then decides if it wants to honor that request, and it can then take a random amount of time to process the request, with an uncertain outcome (success or failure). This is asynchronous to the core, and will not help your report user at all.
