Improve PowerBI Apps Performance

Good day,

Please Help, i have roughly 5 apps that source is from pre-populated sql Data warehouse tables

The PBI Reports have 4-6 tabs with roughly 5million records (using May PBI Version)

The issue is when opening the reports or filtering the busy icon takes a while to load and try clicking one 1 graph then filetring by slicer further is even slower.

Is there ways i can visibly/drastically improve the performce for the users, i access via the sql server which has 120gb ram and it takes a while to load 😞

I feel that its a put off for the users when deep diving into data

regards

Please provide more details.

- Have you used DAX Studio to optimize the measures?

- Have you used Power Query Optimizer to improve ETL performance?

- Have you used SQL Query Plan analyzer to fine tune your indexes and statistics?

Hi,

Thank You for assisting, the loading is pre-populated sql tables

its the user experience that is bad when slicing and filtering due the large volume of data in backend

this could help with the caclulations loading

Have you used DAX Studio to optimize the measures > where and how please?
